CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

The following is a sample of classes offered to make functional pieces of art. All classes are tailored for your ability level and interest. If you have an idea for something you would like to try making, we can help you bring that idea to fruition.

Shannon Lynch, the owner, is a certificated teacher and registered vendor with the Arizona Department of Education. So, Home School Students can take advantage of our Discipline Based Art Education program. The Lessons are designed around the students' current studies and the core curriculum.

The TIME and DATE(s) are dependent on you and the people that will be joining you.

We can take up to 6 participants per class: 4 at the square classroom table and 2 at the stainless steel studio table.

K-8 Core Curriculum Tutoring through Art $40 1 hr. Or $60 for 2 hrs.

Reading, writing, and mathematics will be taught as part of a 1 to 2 hour hands on fused glass art class.

Scoring, Breaking, and Suncatcher $60

Learning how to score (cut) straight and curvy lines, circles, and how to use mosaic nippers. You will then practice those skills to make a sun catcher. (This class is mandatory if you want to borrow tools or attend an Open Studio Time as well as the Electric Equipment Class). 2hrs.

Wind Chimes or Sun Catchers $60

Make 3 wind chime panels or one sun catcher with a metal loop attached at the top for hanging.

Charcuterie Board $90

When not being used as a serving board this lovely piece should be placed in a holder and displayed in a prominent place.

Glass Basket $70

This is another piece that can serve as a bread or fruits basket and then be washed and hung on the wall.

Garden Stakes 2/$40, $15 each additional

Birds, flowers, vegetables the pieces are attached to a sturdy steal rod, and can be used for identification stakes in the vegetable garden, or no care flowers in your flower box

Ornaments, Gift Tags, and Place Cards 2/$50 & $15 each additional

Ideas: Snow Flakes, Turkeys, Christmas Trees, Menorah, Hearts, 4 leaf clover, the American Flag, etc.

Open Studio $60/session or $200/4 sessions

The Studio is open for independent work Thursday mornings from 10am to Noon. This includes use of the Vitragraph and Jen-Ken Pro16, grinders, circular saw, Morton Board, and hand tools.
